The land used to be home to the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, which closed in 2008.
It sits in between 26th St. and 31st St. next to the ME tracks along the lakefront, and is accessible via the 27th St. Metra stop or 35th-Bronzeville-IIT Green Line stop.
